you can create universal AI?
1. read *. NDS
2. identify units, of section [MEMBERS]
3. identify upgrades, of section [UPGRADES]
4. identify [ENABLED], [UPGRADELINKS], etc...
5. replace the names in the source code, the virtual names
It's complicated, but that AI will come to any game
I am ready to build a monument to you. smile

I'm hoping that won't be necessary. As far as I can see, there are a few files we need to update and the AI will be implemented for all nations. Scripts.h is one of them and Extraction.h is another. You'll just need to rebuild the dll files for all the nations. Unless you're referring to something else?

Yes, that is what i meant:
"...create an AI which dynamically works depending on the units in the faction files and create it's own strategy depending on those units..."

Are you a programmer? than help?
I have identified most of the export function.

Funny character that Putin is, eh?

I have a few algorithms planned for such a feat of AI programming.  From my tests, I have concluded that it might be possible, but very inefficient.  It takes some time to read the files, and the AI is slow to react in-game.

I did have some luck though.  My progress has been to read those files, and display a ton of messages to me in game.  It basically tells me the unit stats, and even something simple as that takes some CPU time.

I'll keep on working on it, ab_99, but programming takes time.

deli huseyin, do you have the 64 bit windows or 32 bit?  I heard Visual Basic doesn't like 64 bit Operating Systems.

I'm using 64bit Windows 7 and Visual Studio 6 works fine. I don't think I did any special settings for it to work, not even compatibility.

@deli_huseyin: I've sent you a PM, please take a look at that
