Rather extensive list of strengths and weaknesses. Strong 17thc Musket (Janissary), strong light rider (Spahk). The Xebec is an exceptional naval unit. With its cheap farming upgrades, and fast-producing light infantry, Turkey is better at low peacetime games with low resource settings. Expensive stables and no 18thc upgrade limit Turkey to a short game.

  • Light Infantrymen have 45% fewer hitpoints than Roundshiers, wear no armor, attack 7% slower, total defense upgrades cost 31% more.
  • Mod: Ottoman Infantrymen have 20% fewer hitpoints, -1 attack, attack 8% slower, armor not upgradeable.
  • 17thc Pikemen (Ottoman) cost 27% more, wear no armor.
  • 17thc Dragoons (Bedouin) have 20% fewer hitpoints, total attack upgrade costs are 486% more, cannot be healed using medicine tech in academy.

  • Yachts cost 15% more, wage cost is 1.875 miners per unit (30x higher), have only 30 attack (97% less), fire 14% slower, use 25% more iron and 67% more coal, maxrange 1000 (9% shorter), cannot be upgraded at all.
  • Howitzer building-speed upgrades are less efficient (500% slower).
  • Mine capacity +40 upgrade requires +340000 food and +65000 gold.
  • Artillery construction time upgrades require gold instead of coal.
  • Academy costs 8% more.
