The Global Rating System

1. Global Rating System on the Gamespy internet Shell.

From version 1.29 games can be rated for points in the Global Rating System. Your efforts and military successes will be rewarded thanks to a special system developed for Cossacks.

If you log in anonymously , you’re game will not be rated.

If a player quits or is disconnected during an internet game , an uncompleted game will be registered among his/ her personal data, unless the game is continued with the same cast of players within a day using a save game file.

1.1. Ranks

Apart from the scores, players will also receive titles for their games. The score system is flexible: If a player of a lower rank defeats one of a higher rank, this will yield a greater number of points than if the opponent is equally situated. This also means that a player of a higher rank will receive less points when winning against a lower ranked player. The higher the title , the greater the amount of points needed to obtain a new title.

The following titles are available in the game:

1. Esquire               from  69  points

2. Noblemen           from  90  points

3. Knight                 from 190 points

4. Baron                 from 290 points

5. Viscount             from 390 points

6. Earl                    from 490 points

7. Marquis              from 690 points

8. Duke                  from 1290 points

9. King                   from 2240 points

Untill 2003, one was able to see his personal profile with coat of arms, points, rank, played games records. For some reason, which i will not discuss here, this service has stopped. Only the top 100 players list was still available. Since recently there is this small programm which enables you to see you personal profile again. For this programm i refer to our downloads. There you can download the score watcher.(There's an english-german-russian version) Aswell the read me file on how to use this.

The first number refers to the points a player will obtain for victory over a player of the given rank, the second number shows how many points he will lose if defeated.
