| I am most likely the last to find this out.
But it seems that Gamespy has shutdown.
Not sure what this will mean to the Gamespy shell for Cossacks 1.

| The GSC shell was still working this morning and early afternoon Australian time, 19/05/2013 at 08:00 to 13:00. Remember we are across the date line and I use Aussie dat format so that will be May 18th in the US.
At 0800, I saw a GSC Admins in there so that was pretty scarey. I didn't try to chat. Why scarey? Well, I thought he might be there to shut the server down for maintenance. Daddio's post puts an even scarier spin on it but the GSC Shell is up as I write.

| Well that gamespy announcement dates back to february or so and the gamespy shell is still running. So is the GSC server.
There's still gameranger aswell.
If they all go down, ultimately one could just change the login procedure to connect to a new server, but that would take a fan of cossacks willing to pay for a server to play on ofcourse.
I wouldnt worry to much about it in regards to playing cossacks online at this point.

| And there is always Hamachi tunneling. Hamachi is a shareware virtual private network (VPN) application.
