Just started playing c1 again, and have a problem with the screen freezing.

I can go out by alt tab, and return, and all is ok.

Anyone heard of this?

I smell a videocard issue here. Didn't you change it recently? What type is it, brand and series number?

I am running 2 cards - Geforce Nividia 8800 GTX I am running in a dual card setup in SLI.

But I had this same problem with a single card in ACFB. So I do not think that it is a problem with the SLI setup.

I have installed the official patch. and the problem is there in single player as well.

Also running the latest drivers for these cards.

Very frustrating

Daddio

Hmm, how weird. Never experienced this "freezing" before, so I don't know really what to make off it. The only thing I can think off right now is that it's processor related or RAM related but, that really is speculation. Perhaps a direct X report so I can see what else it might be?

Don't know Daddio, it all looks clean to me. No idea what could be at the root of your problem. Perhaps ask VonSmeed or StoneVeld, they are more techy than me.
