* Problem description: When running Cossacks /American Conquest on Windows 7 RC the game colors do not display properly ( rainbow effect) rendering the game unplayable.

* Problem cause: Bad display of colors in explorer.exe with aero

* Problem solution:

Run dmcr.exe. Alt-tab back to desktop, press CTRL+ALT+DEL, select process tab and shut down explorer.exe, Alt-tab back in game. When finished playing run CTRL+ALT+DEL and start explorer.exe again trough Menu--> File and type explorer.exe. Hit enter.
Both solutions work for Cossacks/American Conquest series. Hopefully Microsoft will have fixed this issue in their public release.
