| Hi guys, I reinstalled Cossacks I on windows 7 but I get the following message:
"this program will not run without the cd-rom in the drive. Err. 1001"
Tried opening in compatibility mode as administrator, downloading the latest patches, but no luck.
Any ideas please?

| Just by looking at your Ip, i take it you'r from the UK, so try this patch which is specifically made to fix this problem with UK versions of the game:

That should mostlikely fix it. If not, do tell!
