Hello guys, I have one problem installing the Imperia mod on Cossacks back to war, I followed carefully all the instructions, but every time I double click on dmcr it says that iChat.dll was not found and that reinstallation might help. Anyone knows what is the solution?

Hello putinovac,

Have you installed the 'Baddog' mod or mod1 which come's with your back to war cd first before installing the Imperia Mod?

To be honest I don't know what is this exactly. I followed the entire procedure of installation. I first installed the v1.35 as it required, then I installed the Imperia mod (the german version), to be more specific I made a copy of CBtW directory on my desktop and I targeted that file during the installation. After installation was done I double clicked dmcr in the Imperia folder and said that iChat.dll was missing. What is exactly the Baddog mode, because I downloaded the Back to War from filestube as a .rar file.

Ok, so , to me it sounds like something installed wrong or something is missing from your ' downloaded' version of BTW.

It is also possible that there is an issue with the german version on my site, but I'v installed it before and didnt got the problem you'r having now.
I got the german version from the [1CB] clan . Perhaps download the latest version from their site and see if thats any different?

Sorry, completely forgot about this thread. If you have the same problem with the version from the 1CB clan site, can I suggest you post a question in their forum. RuIm or Rocky there may have an idea what might be going wrong.

EbelAngel I wanted only to tell that actually any version of the Imperia mod does not work, (not only the german one). I have tried the english and the russian version but it always appear the same problem, the ichat.dll is missing.

Yes actually it was a bad installation, so I reinstalled completely the cossacks btw and then I installed the german imperia mod...and it worked.
