Tasks done:

1.Translations adapted for European Wars, The Art of War and Back to War, for this last I've adapted too:

1.Adapt the translation from previous games to the Campaign DLC but wihout include the missions files, only the translation to play the campaigns in spanish.
2.16 single missions from Europe Wars and The Art of War added (in spanish).
3.Tutorial mission from Europe Wars included (in spanish).
   4.Animation fixes added in ALL.GSC

NOTE: The tasks 2-4 are based in Pisces72's job, thanks mate for your dedication.

2.Recover online mode through the use of Community's server and its Internet folder (cossacks-server.net).

3.Add Mod1 STEAM Version  (Working).

I can imagine that this is the correct subforum for this thread; the adaptation of spanish translation for Cossacks 1 games going well, but I've a few questions:

1.Mode.dat file

I've been able to fix the "no music" problem setting as "read only" this file and now, the music works everytime that I play, of course, editing the correct value and setting it with the value that I want, I've localizated the resolution and sound fx values too, but I don't know which is the purpose of the other values, and here is my question:

Can someone explain me the values of "mode.dat" file????

2.Cossacks Back to War Mod1 STEAM Version (available in this community / patches section)

I want to translate into spanish this version of this MOD because I've understood that is a great MOD and it's compatible with the original campagins and single scenarios, but I don't know exactly which is its purpose/aim, and before to replace/translate the few texts in english that I've found when I've extracted its content, It would be helpful if you tell me more about this MOD.

At this time, this would be everything that I need to know to be able to progress with my "Spanish project".

Regards.

I wish I was skilled enough to help you.

But again, this is a lot of work for a game that is obsolete, and difficult to run on modern PC's.

The new game C3 is a remastered copy of C1. and is expected to have many many mod's available soon after release.

So they may be doing these things for you. and if not, them c3 will be sold with modding tools that are easy to use with the game. So you could make your own much more easily.

Of Course!

Well, the job is finished, at the end, I don't have adapted the MOD1 to my guide for Back to War, but who wants can do it easily, there we go:

Cossacks European Wars: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=268727118

Cossacks The Art of War: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=268753788

Cossacks Back to War: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=268765234

I've adapted to spanish the American Conquest and Fight Back steam versions too, if you want I can post in their forum the links to the guides to translate them.

Other adaptation done is for Cossacks II Napoleonic Wars, fixing the wrong files STEAM BUG and updating it to 1.2 version, this last works for english version because I've fixed and updated the english version and then, you've to translate the game into spanish.

If you want I can post in Cossacks II Modding subforum the link to my guide and upload the FIX/Update to this community.

Thanks for all your help and for this excellent community too.

Regards.
