hey all can anyone help me at all, i used to play bfe online, then stopped playing up until last week and i started againi had no problems before when i was playing, joining others online but now some players i cannot join, i have re-installed the game but no joy and the players i try to join are all 1.3 same as me, does anyone know how to fix this, thanks

sometimes . like with us HWKS. someone needs to HOST. witch means there eather on a router set up to let incoming ip adresses connect. and have a static ip. i can help you with both. that way u can always hattle if u host. but the people u connect 2. are most likely on a wireless or any kind of router. thats not set up right. the only 2 solutions are use a tool called game ranger where it doesnt matter if it routered or not. or set it up to where the people have to join u to play

You might try a fresh install of the game.

If you have played around with some settings in the game, there is a good chance that you cant connect because of a difference in some files.

create a new file and install the game again.

hi guys thanks for the replies, i tried game ranger but no one was playing bfe sad
i have also tried re-installing the game but no joy,
i did try using another router and found that i could join others and they could join me but the router is old and kept failing so i presume its the settings on this other router that is the problem
so my next question is does anyone know the router settings for bfe

hi guys thanks again for your help but i finally purchased another router a dlink so now problems are sorted thanks again
