Hello

I just installed a fresh copy of Cossacks II, while the installation was good when I started the game, a message suddenly appeared and told me that AGP Aperture size is not correct and that I need to set the Aperture size at 256 MB or more...

Maybe anyone had any similar problem and might provide me with a solution...:(

"DESIGNATION
Allows to launch games of Cossacks 2 series with the new graphic cards with high graphic memory. These games previously crashed with the AGP-memory shortage message.
INSTALLATION
Extract the contents to the root game folder, - the folder with the ‘engine.exe’ file.
LAUNCHING
Use file 'startengine.exe' from the root game folder to launch the patched game. It is recommended to create a shortcut for your convenience. Launching the game using the old shortcuts/icons will not engage the patch."

Thanks Pales...

But unfortunately I attempted to start the engine.exe but every time when I double click that, does not want to start....

Probably it is due to the fact that I have Windows 7...I don't know any other reason why CII does not start... sad

Maybe my English is bad and I misunderstand you but after installation patch you still try to run game by engine.exe, ergo:

Use startengine.exe and it should run.

Sorry I meant "startengine.exe" and not "engine.exe"....

Every time I click it the cursor appears and disappears suddenly without even starting...

you have to start it as administrator
