I bought C2 from steam for $5.00 and it works well on Win7, and now win 10.

It was the best option for me.

Hello!

Please, can somebody with STEAM version of C2NW upload campaign mission 4 for me? I have  a GOG version and it doesn't work as it works on youtube:

In GOG version of C2NW(1.2) AI just stand in column formation and won't attack
my units.

Thanks.

Go to your game's Data folder and locate a file named log.txt. Right click it and select properties. Then set the file as read-only and apply change.

That should help a bit. I write should because it doesn't seem to work for everyone. On my end it helps a little though the game still freezes for a fraction of a second every few minutes. Although it also depends on the number of soldiers moving and fighting at the time.

Have you tried disabling grenades for grenadier units? There is considerable lag when grenadiers throw grenades so I disabled them through the game files.

1. Open UnitsMD folder.
2. Open MD files for grenadiers (AusGre, EngGre, FrnGre, PolGre, PolGre, PruGre, RusGre, SpnGre, VesGre)
3. Find a line that says GRENADE 10 30
4. Change it to /GRENADE 10 30
5. Success!!!

I drink, therefore I am.
