| Cossacks 2: NW and BFE on Windows 10
After several weeks trying to run Cossacks 2 on Win 10
browsing many forums, using any patches, updating drivers, updating directx, updating runtimes, using any compatibility modes, any d3d8.dll and also DxWnd and dgVoodoo 2
game starts and crash without any error message...
Yesterday a bit tired and disapointed, i wanted to try Cossacks 3 on Win 10
But i get each time an error MsgBox about access violation for a dll : openal32.dll
So, furious against Win 10 ( Both games were working on Win 7 and Win 8)
I return browsing forums about this error on Cossacks 3
And i fall on an answer where a guy said he get it working by plug in his headphone !
Why not ? So i try his "solution" and it works !
This morning, I retry Cossacks 2, and Victory ! it works too !
My headphones was still plugged in !
Cossacks 2 NW/BFE, Gold and GOG versions are now working.
