What was the exact link you lost? Anything on that site that you want/need that isnt on the site here?

Sure information (and company) is much better here. It is just like an old friend. I just hate to see other sites go by the wayside. It sort makes me feel like I'm in a shrinking community. (which of course it is, sadly enough)

It's not just Cossacks 2. Cossacks 1 GameSpy server just dropped dead 2 weeks ago and nobody seems to know anything. So all that is left now is the GSC servers and if for some reason they decide not to keep them, then it is game over indeed.

I don't think GSC realizes how fast it is going downwards, if they dont pay attention there will be virtually nobody left to sell Cossacks III to.

I guess that life, we gotta move on, see what comes next at us. Maybe stick around till Cossacks 3 comes out and see what that gives. What was that on the cdv internal forum bout an American Civil War game cdv is looking in to? I wonder if that will be any good.

I have been working at the new job a lot lately and not had too much time for cossacks.

Only played 2 games in the last month.

GS has always gone down for a couple of weeks every year.

But these days you never know what is going on.

Hope it comes back up.

Officially there is no news ...yet

Unoffcially I can tell you I'v seen the GSC boss wearing promotional matherial (T -shirt ) with Cossacks III on in December last year and I'v heard off the record that they are soon about to begin or have already begun developpment.
