but how to make the gate cry ??
Terrain is static, so what you did with the walls you wont be able to do with gates. Since there are no models currently in game off gates/walls its somewhat impossible without modding the game and adding them. Its not hard, just need models but then its not a map anymore but a mod, which would require all parties to play that map to have that mod.
There is however one possible option I see, and i never fully explored it, so I'm not entirely sure if it would work, but it goes as following:
After creating the map, and walls, you could add a script, just like the missions have attached to them, this does not require a mod.
In the script one would add a Terraform set up. This is one off the many unused features in the game. As I understand it allows for a scriptable event on the terrain. Say you have terrain lower everytime a (friendly) unit approaches, it could act as a gate.
But as I have said , I have never fully explored this option. Someone should if one feels adventurous. I can have a try at it later when I feel like doing so or could guide someone else in doing so.
