it's strange that you proposed Imperial Glory which is old and poor total war clone game. Didn't you know better games as like Histwar LG or Napoleon TW?
All these games do not satisfy me. I still seek something like HEW mod or C2 BfE, but with better Napoleonic Warfare.
I prefere:
proper battle tactics,
correct selected and placed units which can fight in well chosen formations,
with good proportions, scaling, casualties ratios and prisoners of the war
where general commanders can organize big and complex army,
well operate on max realistic tactical and strategical, global maps,
where long game play can be fun.
What a pity that I can not find the game, where I can play proper Napoleonic warfare.
Any new, good games, which I would like to play. C3 is in deep shadow, and nobody knows, will this game even developed.
C2 engine and game play style can be fine, but this games needs many improvements, which I'd showed in another thread many times ago, which could
makes this game more realistic, geographically and historically accurate.
Few modders tried do something there, but it is a hard work and individual man can't do all these things well and quickly.
HWK poppen would add many interesting things, which I also would like to see in the game, however it looks sometime incredible.
Main problem of course is good source code, but even when you will find, it will be hard make everything what you would like to add.
