Worse that it looks that they rush their work. Improved some graphic elements, added few things and try call this is new game.

Well, they made an entirely new engine for the game.  I expect that this means that all subsequent Cossacks games will be based off this new engine.  Game engines aren't the easiest thing to build, so I expect that they put plenty of time and effort into this game witch they promise to continue development well after its release.

I wasn't being sarcastic. They want to sell this game to people and then let those same people who already gave them money to develop the game further with mods that they might include in the game after some finishing touches from the developers. Probably for free (well maybe the modder's name will be mentioned on the official site somewhere). Cost cutting.

I for one will closely monitor all the released screens and trailers. And when the game is finally released the reviews and gameplay videos. After that I will first pirate the game and test it before I decide if it is worthy enough to spend my hard earned money.

HAHAHA!  That is so common I think it's the norm now.

There seams to be roads like has been mentioned already, I think they have made a few improvements to the game.  I really hope so at least!  I wonder though, will the buildings be rotatable like in AoE III or Stronghold Crusader II.  Rotating buildings would be great, or at least pleasing to the eyes.

I have a bad feeling that those walls and towers we saw in pre-release screens are just from the campaigns and not buildable in-game.

If they remove Walls, towers, cannons, the game will be like counter strike with cuirassiers and granadiers.
