Hi there! I have seen many problems regarding windows 7. Ive installed the original cossacks and cossacks 2 on my windows 7 laptop but doesnt want to open.
Cossacks 2 error message is a runtime error(Microsoft visual C++ library) . I have tried changing the compatibility but that doesnt seem to do the trick. as for cossacks 1 the error message is 'the program will not run without the CD-rom int he drive. Err.1001. I am a massive fan of cossacks and would be really grateful if someone could help me out!! Many thanks. Answer: Hi, please post your problems in detail in the forum(s), if possible including a screenshot off the errors and more details such as versions off the game(s).

Hi folks
I still love this game and decided to register on here, I was a mod for CDV at one time and was around right from the word go gamewise I think I got a mention inside back cover once. I now have 64bit Win 7 and cannot get this or AC to run so am going to try a 32bit windows on my older PC and see if I can get it to run on there. Regards, Terry |

Thanks for answering. And no the message wasn't in the spam / junk folder neither, however i've received the message which told me you answered my question on the site. I received that one , and can't received the registration one ? What's the problem ?

hey guys!
i´m new to this game and i don't know how to upgrade grenadiers. i build every building but there is no update button in palace academy blacksmith or somewhere else! can you help me? Answer: First off what game do you have? C1 or C2? In C2 there is no upgrades for grenadiers. only an upgrade in the blacksmith to enable you to build them. BUT, please ask this question in the forum. where anyone can help you out with it.

Hi All!
Angel ure running a very informative page, good work ; ) Theres only one thing i dont get concerning Hotkeys : i hardly can see ANY diffrence in the units anlignment by right-clicking an ctrl+right-clicking them?? can u tell me whats the effect? :P Answer: Hehe, good one, I copied this from the hotkeys text that came with the game. Can't believe I missed this. Thanks for reporting.
