MDavid, mostlikely it is because the steam version is installed in a different location and the installer cant find the path where its supposed to install. If memory serves me correctly it is the folder before the 'Data' folder. I could be wrong, and the steam version might not even have such folder.

The installer is not working for any map I have downloaded from U. All of them say "installation error. is c2 game is running exit the game and retry. I tried running with XP compatibility pack 3 and as administrator. Nothing worked. I have a Steam version of C2BFE and Windows 7 x64

If anyone is having problems with lag while playing this map, set your log.txt file in the game's Data folder as "Read only".

Jeez... "Purgatory", where you got this Name from ? Thank you again and again, for this map too. It is not that hard as the last once, but tricky and much place for guerilla-like attacks. Tricky because the AI always comes from the opposite side. So you need strong riders for changing battleplaces. To play it is like vacation, nice gaming !
