I think the computers are getting too fast for some of these "older" games. I have recently installed IGI 2 (2003) and it would freeze mid-play for a sec or two every so often.

Must be time dilation...

Problems ? Yes ! But it happens with or without your map installed, so I think it has another reason.

The game jerks every 2min for 1-2sec. It happens in Cossacks II and in Cossacks-BfE. Nothing had changed at my hardware, and it is strong enough easily for Cossacks. New Drivers, no Problems otherwise.

I never had such a problem.
